WPPI 2017 2nd Half awards

Around this time last year we had our first crack at entering the WPPI 2nd half members-only photography awards. It was a pretty unbelievable result last year, with The Final Voyage of Skuldelev I taking out First Place in the Illustrative category. Should we try again for 2017? Yes we should!!

Very happy to see Senseless take the title of First Place in the Illustrative category, and Relentless following close behind with Second Place!

It’s quite cool to defend the 2016 title, and know that our work stands on its own at an international level.

The 2nd half digital awards are the leadup to the very prestigious WPPI 16×20 Annual, judged in Las Vegas in late February 2018. Cross your fingers and toes for us!

He has been recognised as a Fellow of the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers , an NZIPP Master with Distinction, and Icon International Photography Awards Double Master .

 

Kris’ work has received gold awards at international, national and state levels for professional print judging. He was recently recognised as the 2023 NZIPP Australian Portrait Photographer of the Year and the 2023 SWPP Portrait Photographer of the Year. Prior to that, Kris was awarded 2019 AIPP Queensland Professional Photographer of the Year. He has also won state and national titles for AIPP Professional Illustrative Photographer of the Year.
