Spine Street Studios is an amazing studio space in Sumner Park. Easily the largest studio space we work in, Studio 4 at Spine Street Studios has a huge shooting area with a corner cyclorama, four makeup stations, a full kitchen, multiple bathrooms, and tons of parking.
Getting there
Head to 22 Spine Street, Sumner, in the Western Suburbs. It’s only a few minutes off of the Western Freeway.
Arrival and parking
When you arrive at the location, you’ll see a driveway that goes between the two buildings. Studio 4 is down that driveway. You can either park near my blue Toyota Rav 4, or there is plenty of parking at the front and rear of the building.

As of July 2024, the other units in that building are under renovation, so expect to see either construction or new businesses opened up.
To get into the studio, head about halfway down the laneway until you see the GIANT door with a 4 on it. Just past that is a human-sized door. Knock three times and say “I AM THE LIZARD QUEEN” loudly and you may enter. (I mean, you can do that if you want, and it’s fun when people do, but a solid knocking will do the job.) Generally if you’re early, I may be shooting with a client, so be patient and try again 🙂
