Silluart Studios is a gorgeous clean studio space in Sunnybank Hills. Perfect for dancers and for headshots, the space has a 3.5m tall cyclorama/infinity wall, paper backdrops, full-body mirror on wheels, makeup station and change room.

Getting there

Head to 96 Morden Road, Sunnybank Hills – the studio is nestled in a quiet residential area.

Arrival and parking

#96 is a two-story white house, well signed, with a “Silluart Studios” sign on the fence. There is plenty of street parking. You know you’re in the right place when you can see my Blue Toyota Rav4 parked in the driveway facing out to the street.

You will 100% think “This is a residential street, this is just a house, I am in the wrong place.” Look for the sign next to #96 on the gate, and you will most likely see my Blue Toyota RAV4 backed in to that driveway. You are indeed in the right place! The studio is tucked in just behind the house. Keep the faith!

At the end of the driveway there’s a sliding glass door to the house; Penny (one of the studio owners) is likely inside and you’re welcome to hang out there until the start of your session. Alternatively, follow the path to the left of the house; the studio is just behind the house.

If you have any troubles at all, call me 0413 300 020.

Since this is in a residential area, let’s do the right thing by the neighbours and keep arrival and departure quiet, especially early in the morning or in the evening!

A few studio notes

There are a couple of things to keep in mind at Silluart; I’ll tell you these things on the day but it’s good to know ahead of time.

  • The toilet is a septic system so you can’t just flush any old thing.
  • As with many studios, the cyclorama wall is not for standing on. That curvy bit at the floor where if only you’d brought your skateboard you could catch some totally wicked air? Yeah don’t step on that bit please; it’s for looks, not for standing on.
  • Be kind to the studio floor. If your shoot is a headshot session, or is a “no feet will be seen in this shoot” session, then I might ask you to wear socks on the floor please, just to avoid marking it. Marks and scuffs happen, so don’t freak out; it just makes the day faster for me and for all the clients if we keep it in good condition.
