Each year, the best improvisers from around Australia gather for the Theatresports National Championships. In 2011, Brisbane is hosting the Nationals as part of the Off the Cuff Festival of Improvised Theatre, from Thursday 29 September through Saturday 1 October. The very clever improvisers of ImproMafia recently delivered a season of Agatha Holmes at the Brisbane Arts Theatre. It’s not very often one gets the chance to take pictures of a manic drug-addled detective, a salty sea captain, a silver-screen siren, and a French conwoman masquerading as Russian royalty… all in costume and on set!
